LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Aggies are looking to once again turn Albuquerque into Aggiequerque.
The NM State track & field team makes its second consecutive trip up to The Duke City this weekend. The Aggies will compete in the UNM Collegiate Classic, hosted by New Mexico, Friday, Feb. 7, and Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

FloTrack.

SCHEDULE
Friday's action is slated to begin at 3 p.m., starting with the weight throw. The day concludes with the 200m dash, which is scheduled to get going at 7:50 p.m.
The second and final day of the meet begins with the shot put at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The competition wraps up on the track, concluding with the 4x400m relay at 2:30 p.m.

ABOUT THE MEET
The Aggies will go head-to-head against some of the nation's top teams during the two-day meet, including host New Mexico, Alabama, Arizona State, Kentucky, San Diego State, Texas, Texas Tech, UCLA and UNLV.

NM State turned in a good showing at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational last time out, led by senior
Lashira Tremble's efforts on the track.

The native of Peoria, Ariz., was in
midseason form, setting new personal bests in the 60m dash (7.44 seconds) and 200m race (24.80). She was named the Western Athletic Conference's Indoor Track Athlete of the week, as her performance in the 60m dash was the second fastest time in program history and ranked as the top time in the WAC this season.
Her effort in the
200m, meanwhile, was the WAC's second-best time this year.
