LAS CRUCES, N.M. - From NM State to the NFL.
One former Aggie football star took the field during Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season. Kyle Nelson, the second-longest tenured member of the San Francisco 49ers, started at long snapper in the team's win over the New York Giants.
Here's a quick recap of how NM State football alums fared in the third week of the season:
Jason Huntley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
- Did not see action in Philadelphia's 23-23 tie against former Aggie defensive back Winston Rose and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Kyle Nelson, LS, San Francisco 49ers
- Started at long snapper, but did not record any statistics in San Francisco's 39-6 win over the Giants.
Jaleel Scott, WR, New York Jets
- Member of the team's practice squad.
Winston Rose, DB, Cincinnati Bengals
- Member of the team's practice squad.
