Complete PBC Release
LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Trevelin Queen's quest to become the next professional Aggie took another step in the right direction this week.
In an announcement made Tuesday morning, the former NM State star has been chosen as one of 24 college and international prospects who will participate in the 2020 Professional Basketball Combine (PBC).
A secondary NBA Draft combine aimed at professional prospects who are projected to be second-round NBA Draft choices, undrafted free agents, two-way players or overseas players, the PBC has a robust tradition of identifying under-the-radar talent and helping that talent increase its visibility in the pre-draft process.
The PBC's in-person event usually occurs annually at the Sports Academy (formerly Mamba Sports Academy) at its locations in Thousand Oaks and Redondo Beach, Calif., but limitations placed on the Academy due to the COVID-19 pandemic prevented an in-person event in 2020.
Even though no in-person event will take place, representatives from the PBC are still working closely with the 24 honorees so they may see where they fit at the next level. That information will then be passed along to various contacts in the NBA, the G-League and international professional basketball.
