THE FIRST SERVE
• Following a break of nearly one month, the NM State women's tennis team is bound for The Entertainment Capitol of the World where the Aggies will compete in the ITA Mountain Regional.
• UNLV serves as the host institution for this year's ITA-sanctioned regional event. Wednesday morning's first-round doubles matches begin at 10:00 a.m. MT while first-round singles action gets going directly afterwards. A double-elimination singles and doubles tournament, the ITA Mountain Regional features over 120 women's players from around the region.
THE FIELD
• NM State will be one of 20 NCAA Division I teams sending student-athletes to the ITA's regional event. In addition to NM State, Air Force, Boise State, BYU, Colorado, Colorado State, Denver, Dixie State, Idaho, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Nevada, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, UNLV, Utah, Utah State, Weber State and Wyoming will have players vying for titles.
COMING UP NEXT
• NM State will remain within state lines when the Aggies travel north to Albuquerque, N.M., for a three-day stint at New Mexico's Lobo Halloween Classic. That event is scheduled for Friday-Sunday, Oct. 29-31.
