ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The NM State women's tennis team wrapped up its three-day competition at the New Mexico Halloween Howl event Sunday afternoon.
DOUBLES
• A strong conclusion to their weekend on the court as a tandem saw
Harsha Challa and
Lisa Zhu hand New Mexico's pairing of Hsuan Huang and My Kageyama a 6-2 loss.

Miranda Bishard and
Chloe Gavino couldn't make it a 2-0 morning for the Aggies in tandem play, thtough. They dropped a 6-3 decision to the Lobos' pairing of Sarah O'Connor and Sahoto Toriumi.
SINGLES
•
Georgia Townsend was the only Aggie to win her singles match Sunday, defeating Colorado State's Matea Mihaljevic by a 7-5, 6-4 score.
•
Bella Nguyen played things close with Colorado State's Anastasiia Kotsyuba at first, but fell 7-5, 6-1 in her one-on-one battle.
• Challa won only three games in her 6-1, 6-2 setback to the Rams' Sarka Richterova while Gavino picked up just a single game during a 6-1, 6-0 loss at the hands of Colorado State's Radka Buzkova.
• Zhu's 7-5, 6-4 loss to Colorado State's Somer Dalla-Bona was her first singles setback of the weekend.

Gavi Kalaga forced a third set in her bout with the Rams' Lucia Natal, but couldn't complete the comeback and fell 6-2, 6-7, 6-2.
• Bishard was on the wrong end of a 6-4, 6-0 result against Colorado State's Kotsyuba while
Melissa Cartis grabbed a total of four games in her 6-3, 6-1 loss to the Rams' Tracy Guo.
COMING UP NEXT
• NM State heads to DeLand, Fla., for its final action of the fall season. There, the Aggies are set to take part in the Stetson Invitational from Friday-Sunday, Nov. 5-7.
