LAS CRUCES, N.M. - For the first time since March 5, 2020, the NM State men's basketball team is returning to the floor of the Pan American Center.
Ahead of the Aggies' 2021-22 season opener, the team is set to host a Crimson & White Scrimmage on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are $5 for adults while children 12 and under will be admitted free of charge. Tickets can be purchased at the door of the Pan American Center on the night of the event or by calling the Pan American Center Ticket office at 575-646-1420. All of the money brought in from ticket sales will benefit the Aggies' youth ticket program. All NM State and DACC students who present a valid student ID will also be admitted to the event free of charge.
All fans who attend Tuesday night's event will be required to wear masks inside the Pan American Center to comply with the state of New Mexico's existing public health order.
Doors to the Pan American Center are scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m. on the night of the event with the action set to begin shortly after line-ups and introductions are announced at 7:00 p.m. Concession stands around the building will also be open for fans to purchase beverages and snacks during the scrimmage.
The 20-minute intrasquad scrimmage will feature the 2021-22 Aggies and team rosters will be available to help fans identify all of their favorite NM State players.
After not being able to play in the Pan American Center in the 2020-21 campaign due to an in-state public health order, the Aggies will be back on their home court this season as they hope to capture another WAC regular season crown. Thirteen of the 18 players on the Aggies' roster are preparing for their first season in an NM State uniform.
