• For the fourth and fifth times this season, the NM State women's tennis team will challenge a Pac-12 opponent. The Aggies are in Tucson, Ariz., where they'll tangle with Arizona on Monday and Tuesday from the Lanelle Robson Tennis Center. Each match is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
• NM State saw its two-match winning streak come to an end last Wednesday in Tempe, Ariz., by dropping a 7-0 decision to 31st-ranked Arizona State.
• The Aggies and Wildcats have already met one time this year with Arizona emerging as the 6-1 victor in the Aggies' season-opener back on January 29, 2021. Chloe Gavino picked up NM State's lone team point in that match, scoring a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Talya Zangberg in second-flight singles action.
• Junior Gavi Kalaga continues to lead the team in singles victories, owning a 7-2 record in one-on-one matches so far in 2021.
• Kalaga an teammates Harsha Challa are the team's best doubles pairing, having put up a 4-3 record in tandem action. They have generated half of the team's eight doubles victories in the 2021 campaign.
