LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State volleyball team heads to Orem, Utah, seeking its third-straight Western Athletic Conference Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance beginning with a semifinal matchup on Friday, April 2, at 5 p.m. (MT) against the winner of the UT Rio Grande Valley/Chicago State quarterfinal.

• NM State set the school record for hitting percentage in a three-set match hitting .554 against Seattle U on March 3.
Shaney Lipscomb hit 14 kills on 14 attempts to set the school record for hitting percentage in a three-set match.

• The Aggies lead the WAC in hitting percentage (.302), opponent hitting percentage (.127), assists (14.02), kills (15.16) and aces (1.62).

Five different Aggies earned seven All-WAC awards following the Spring 2021 season while head coach
Mike Jordan won his 10
th Coach of the Year after leading the Aggies to a school-record .938 winning percentage.

The Aggies wrapped up their regular-season with a pair of matches at Chicago State on March 22 and 23.

Katie Birtcil exploded for a career-high 19 kills in a 3-1 win over the Cougars. Birtcil's 19 kills are the most by an Aggie this season. The Aggies then swept the Cougars the following day to cap a 15-1 regular season.
