Aggies Women’s Golf Opens 2021-22 Season at Dick McGuire Invitational

The Aggies are one of eight teams in the field that finished inside the top-60 in 2020-21

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The NM State women's golf program opens its 2021-22 season Monday and Tuesday competing at the Branch Law Firm Dick McGuire Invitational hosted by The University of New Mexico at the Championship Course at UNM.
 
The two-day, 54-hole event features 16 schools, including eight programs that finished the 2021 season ranked inside the top-60 Golf Stat Team Rankings. The field also includes seven teams (Denver, New Mexico, NM State, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Diego State and San Jose State) that made a 2021 NCAA Regional.
 
The teams will play 36 holes on Monday, before returning to the Championship Course on Tuesday. The action gets going tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m.
 
The 2021-22 Aggies feature five returners and one newcomer, freshman Meji Tungprapunvong.  Live results for the entire Dick McGuire Invitational can be found here.

UP NEXT:
The Aggies return to action two weeks from Monday when they travel to Vail, Colo. for the GolfWeek Conference Challenge at Red Sky Golf Club. The three-day event will take place from Sept. 27-29.
