RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Aggies traveled to Riverside, Calif. for the regular season finale against California Baptist for a chance to cement themselves as the #3 seed in the upcoming WAC Women's Soccer Tournament.
CBU got out in front early with a goal by Elizabeth Oglesby on a second attempt after her first was sent back by Makenna Gottschalk. It only took 2:48 for the Aggies to answer the late first half goal with a goal of their own in the final seconds of the opening half.
The score came off the head of Blakley Edgar after the Aggies were awarded with a free kick in the corner. Bianca Chacon and Brooke Shultz later connected for the second and final goal of the match to give NM State the 2-1 victory.

41' | Elizabeth Oglesby scored a goal towards the end of the first half after gathering her own miss, which was saved by Makenna Gottschalk. She took a shot on an empty net to give the Lancers 1-0 lead
44' | Just 2:48 after the Lancers score, the Aggies answered right back with a goal in the closing seconds of the first half. Blakley Edgar was credited with the goal after the free kick. Jenna Johannes was given the assist on the play.
68' | The Aggies were awarded with another free kick just to the left of the goal box in the 68th-minute. Bianca Chacon took the kick and found the head of Blakley Edgar who punched in the go-ahead goal. This wound up being the game winning goal, solidifying the rematch between the Aggies and Lancers for Wednesday in Seattle.

- This is the third time the Aggies have finished the season with ten wins.
- This is also the most conference wins by any team in program history.

- Just four shots were on goal for the Lancers
- NM State took five corners to the CBU's 6
- Blakley Edgar and Brooke Shultz both recorded their second goals of the season tonight.
- This is Shultz's third career goal and Edgars second.

The Aggies and Lancers will battle it out again, this time in Seattle for the first round of the WAC Tournament. The winner will go on to face the #2 Seed, Seattle U. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. MT.
