FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – After leading the Aggies on Friday, Italia Aranzabal put forth NM State's best performance on Saturday on the one-meter boards.
 
Aranzabal posted a 241.70 in the prelims to finish with the sixth-best score upon completion of the preliminary round. In the finals round, the senior from Mexico City, Mexico, registered a 243.80 to notch an eighth-place finish on day two of the Lumberjack Invite.
 
After a top-20 finish on day one, Lily Ellis managed a score of 217.10 in the prelims to work her way into the top 14 and a spot in the consolation finals. Ellis earned a 211.40 in her second round of dives to finish seventh in the consolation finals.
 
Casey Schmidt posted the Aggies' third-best score on the day as she battled to a 202.35 total score in the prelims to finish 20^th.
 
Meanwhile, Jordan Okamoto, Kate Malinowski and Megan Ono completed day two in 22^nd, 23^rd and 24^th, respectively.

UP NEXT
The Aggies will conclude their weekend in Arizona on Sunday morning when the NM State dive team competes in the platform event beginning at 10 a.m. MT.
