Sharpshooting Transfer Kyle Feit Commits to NM State

NM State adds three-point threat.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The deep list of impressive offseason additions just got deeper. Head Coach Greg Heiar announced sharpshooting guard Kyle Feit will be joining the Aggie roster for the upcoming season.

Feit makes his way to The City of Crosses via Indian River State College where he spent one season following a three-year stint with Arizona State.

Kyle Feit | G | Jr. | 6-4 | 215 | Boca Raton, Fla./Indian River State College/Arizona State/IMG Academy
· Connected on more threes than any shooter at the NJCAA level last season – knocking down 112 triples while shooting an impressive 46.5 percent from beyond the arc.
· Used his impressive level of accuracy to average 12.3 points per game which ranked third amongst the squad that came in as the second-ranked team in the final NJCAA rankings.
· Helped lead the Pioneers to a 28-5 overall record and an 11-1 record in conference play while managing a stretch of seven-straight games in which he scored double digits.
· Listed as a two-star recruit by Verbal Commits, Feit started all 33 games for Indian River last season.
· Recorded at least one made three in all but two games during his time with the Pioneers.
· Scored 20-plus points five times last year, including tallying 33 points on Dec. 4 when he went 11-14 from long range to help lead IRSC to a commanding 69-point victory on the road at Pasco-Hernando State College.
· Also post a 37-point scoring outburst in a later contest in which he was 9-14 from downtown.
· Developed an understanding of what the level of competition looks like at the Power Five level when he spent three years in Tempe, Ariz., suiting up for Arizona State.
· Began to perfect his craft when he saw a considerable amount of playing in 2018 as he suited up for the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

What they're saying about Feit
NM State head coach Greg Heiar | "I'm happy to announce the signing of Kyle Feit to our 2022 class. Kyle brings a unique skill to our team. He is what we call the "sniper" piece. He was the best three-point shooter at the JUCO level, making 112 threes, shooting 47 percent last year. That's elite! I'm excited to be able to coach and be around Kyle daily! He brings personality, experience and confidence to Aggie Nation. Aggie fans will be excited to get to know and watch him in the Pan Am. #AggieUp"
