The duo of
Natsuki Nishimura and
Anna Pinaieva knocked off the O'Lideadha sisters of Idaho State by a score of 8-5. With the win, Nishimura and Pinaieva now draw Denver's Alice Otis and Claudia Martinez de Velasco.
Elsewhere,
Lisa Zhu and
Valeriia Ivanovskaia bested Air Force's Isabella Flodin and Alexis Odom by a dominant score of 8-2. Zhu and Ivanovskaia's second-round matchup is now set with UNM's Maria Sodre and Sofia Taborga.
