SALT LAKE CITY – NM State concluded reached the end of its run in the ITA Mountain Regional after its final duo fell on Friday morning on the campus of the University of Utah.
After a pair of stellar performances, the team of
Lisa Zhu and
Valeriia Ivanovskaia suffered defeat when it collided with Denver's Caroline Driscoll and Anastasia Simonov. Zhu and Ivanovskaia battled but dropped the match 8-3 in the Round of 16.
NM State will now prepare for its final tournament of the fall season in El Paso, Texas, where they will compete in the UTEP Invitational from November 3-5.
To begin the spring season, the Aggies will host Western New Mexico in an exhibition on January 25, before the first season opener against Tarleton two days later.
