FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The NM State dive team will head to the Grand Canyon State this weekend as they compete in the annual Lumberjack Diving Invite hosted by Northern Arizona from Friday to Sunday.
Joining the Aggies at the three-day event will be UC Davis, Fresno State, New Mexico, Grand Canyon, Cal Poly and Idaho.
The meet will consist of 1- and 3-meter events along with some platform events. Last week at New Mexico, freshman Mira Tinani was the lone Aggie diver to compete in Albuquerque, N.M. Tinani shined in her first rivalry meet – taking home second place in both events.
This weekend's competition is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. MT each morning with finals projected to start at 1:30 p.m.
