EL PASO, Texas – After a weekend without competition, the Aggies will travel down I-10 to take part in the UTEP Invitational hosted at the El Paso Tennis Club by the Aggies' rivals.
Competition is expected to begin at 9 a.m. MT and the Aggies will be joined by New Mexico and Idaho during the three-day event. The programs will take part in doubles play to start each day before challenging one another in singles action.
The Aggies last competed in the ITA Mountain Regional in Salt Lake City where the tandem of
Lisa Zhu and
Valeriia Ivanovskaia battled their way to an appearance in the Round of 16 among a talented field.
The play this weekend will put an end to the fall season as the Aggies will then prepare for a spring season that is set to begin on Jan. 25 versus Western New Mexico at the NM State Tennis Center.
