EL PASO, Texas – On Sunday evening, the Aggies fall season came to a close as they wrapped up play at the UTEP Invitational.
 
The final day of the tournament hosted by the Aggies' rivals included a pair of doubles wins and another three singles wins to allow the Aggies to head home on a positive note.
 
In doubles action, Lisa Zhu and Valeriia Ivanovskaia returned to the win column as they defeated the Miners' Telzynska and Mencaglia, 6-4. Additionally, Dora Kurdi and Whitney Moon picked up their second straight win as a team as they claimed a 6-3 win over UTEP's Hennicaux and Stuart.
 
In singles action, Lisa Zhu continued her dominant weekend as she defeated UTEP's Lebisova 6-3, 6-2 to remain undefeated during the three-day event. Meanwhile Natsuki Nishimura tallied a win over UTEP's DiBattista and Ivanovskaia earned a win over DiBattista's teammate Hennicaux.
