FIRST SERVE
• After opening WAC play with a pair of home wins last weekend, NM State will put its two-match win streak on the line as they travel to Texas to take on UT Arlington and UTRGV on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
• NM State's first match of the weekend will come against one of just two other schools in the WAC who hoist a 2-0 record after one week of action. UT Arlington opened league play with a 5-2 win over Abilene Christian on Friday, March 17, before knocking off Tarleton 6-1 on Sunday, March 19.
• NM State will then face off with UTRGV who sits at 1-1 in WAC matches, however, the Vaqueros have won three of their last four matches to leave them with a .500 win percentage on the season.
• Thus far, the Aggies have been led in singles play by Lisa Zhu who now has eight wins on the season – all coming at the No. 2 position.
• Meanwhile, Anna Pinaieva, Miranda Bishard and Bella Nguyen are tied for second on the team in singles wins with seven a piece. Pinaieva and Ngueyn are also two of five Aggies that are currently on a two-match singles win streak as they are joined by Melissa Cartis, Valeriia Ivanovskaia and Dora Kurdi.
• In doubles action, Bella Nguyen and Miranda Bishard continue to lead the way with seven victories while the No. 1 tandem of Anna Pinaieva and Lisa Zhu collected a pair of wins last weekend to rank second on the team in doubles wins with six on the season.

UP NEXT
The Aggies will be back at home next weekend when they play host to Sam Houston on the final day of March before welcoming Stephen F. Austin on Sunday. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the NM State Tennis Center.
