FIRST SERVE
• NM State was most recently in action at home from Jan. 25-27. There, the Aggies defeated Western New Mexico in their exhibition match. NM State followed that up with a 5-2 victory over Weber State before falling to Tarleton State 5-2.
• After competing against the Mean Green, NM State will travel to Nacogdoches to collide with former WAC foe Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
• NM State looks to snap a five-match losing streak to North Texas which has won each match against the Aggies since the 2007-08 season.
•
Valeriia Ivanovskaia looks to stay unbeaten in singles, posting a team-best 3-0 record, including her performance in the exhibition match against Western New Mexico.
• Ivanovskaia was also dominant in doubles play as she and
Lisa Zhu teamed to post a 3-0 record last weekend and will look to stay undefeated as the head to the Lone Star State. The dynamic duo got off to a hot start, allowing opponents to win a combined five games during the opening weekend of play.
• Zhu also impressed as she kicked off her junior campaign – winning two of her three singles matches.
