Bunch picks up award following top-10 finish.

DALLAS – For the third time this season and eighth time in her career, Emma Bunch has been named the Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week. Earlier this week, Bunch recorded yet another top-10 finish to extend her streak to eight-straight top-10 finishes in regular season tournaments.

Bunch finished tied for 10th at the Dale McNamara Invitational, shooting 73-71-76-220 (+7). Bunch held her own in a deep field which included players from Power Four programs Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and BYU.

In a tournament in which the average score was a 77.2 per 18 holes and 231.6, Bunch finished well below these averages on a difficult course at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow, Okla. On the week, Bunch finished tied for fifth in average score on both the Par 3s and par 5s. Additionally, Bunch was one of just four players in the 84-woman field to card an eagle during the 54-hole event.

Including this week, Bunch has now recorded six rounds of par or better this year and is maintaining an average 18-hole score of 75.9. Bunch has now earned the CUSA weekly award three of the seven times that it has been awarded this season.

The Dale McNamara Invitational marked the final tournament of the fall season for Bunch and the Aggies as they will not return to action until Feb. 15 when they travel to Palm Desert, Calif., for the Allie and John Wallace Classic hosted by Long Beach State University.
