LAS VEGAS, Nev. – NM State is set to begin a two-week stretch without a home match as they travel to UNLV to take on the Rebels in a true road match on Friday before meeting up with Kansas City in a neutral site bout on Saturday.
The Aggies will begin their weekend at 11 a.m. MT as they face off with UNLV at the Fertitta Tennis Center. NM State will also see the Roos of Kansas City at 11 a.m. MT the following day. This weekend will provide a bounce-back opportunity after the Aggies fell 4-1 in their most recent match and have now lost three-straight matches.
Individually, the Aggies will rely on strong play from
Anna Pinaieva who leads the Aggies with a 3-1 record in singles play and has done so from the No. 1 line. Meanwhile, the pairs of
Dora Kurdi and
Whitney Moon and
Lisa Zhu and
Valeriia Ivanovskaia have both produced a 2-1 record this fall.

The Aggies dropped a home match versus UT Arlington, however,
Anna Pinaieva shined as she claimed victory over her Maverick counterpart and also teamed up with
Natsuki Nishimura to tally a win in doubles action.
UP NEXT
After a weekend in Las Vegas, the Aggies will travel to Texas where they will face off with Texas State on Feb. 23 before trekking to San Antonio to battle with Incarnate Word on Feb. 25.
