Aggies Continue Road Trip Against Washington

This will be the Aggies first matchup versus Washington.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State stays out west to face off against Washington on Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. MT. This is the Aggies' third Big Ten opponent already this season, earning a home win against Oregon and a tie against #23 USC.

Aggie Accolades
2023 All-Conference USA Second Team member Brooke Schultz won her first Conference-USA Weekly Award of her career CUSA announced on Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. MT. Schultz recorded two goals and one assist on the week.
 
Schultz had a stellar week as she scored two goals in two games, both game-winning goals. Her first goal on the week came against Oregon where she put the Aggies ahead on a free kick leading them to their first win over a power-four conference team in program history. Her second goal of the week came in the game's final two minutes against Texas A&M-Commerce. She also recorded the only Aggie Assist in the TAMUC game.
 
Record Watch
After posting a brace on Thursday, Loma McNeese has 21 career goals, putting her third in program history. Along with this, she is also tied for first in game winnings goals (7), in second place in points (56), tied for second in PK goals (2) and tied for second in multi-goal games (2).
 
Valerie Guha sits in second place in shutouts among all Aggie goalkeepers. She is also third in goalkeeper wins (12), second in GAA (1.28) and tenth in saves (61).
 
 
Unbeaten
The Aggies are currently on a 13-game regular season unbeaten streak, with their last loss being USC on Sept. 14, 2023. They are also on a seven-game home unbeaten streak with their last loss being UNLV on Sept. 7, 2023.
 
The Aggies are now 14-2-6 at home dating back to 2022. Since 2023 Offensive Player of the Year Loma McNeese arrived on campus the Aggies are 22-8-6 at home.
 
History
This will be the first time the Aggies and the Huskies have never faced off against each other.
 
Scouting the Huskies
The Huskies are currently 1-1-2 with a win against UC Irvine, a loss against #10 Santa Clara and two ties against Wyoming and Seattle U.  In their game against #10 Santa Clara the Huskies lost by a score of 2-1. Their largest margin of victory was against UC Irvine where they won 2-0.
 
The Huskies have recorded just four goals on the year coming from four separate players. They also have just four assists on the year from four different players. Mia Hamant has spent the majority of time in goal allowing just two goals and recording 10 saves.
