LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Kicking off the fall season, the Aggies will open the fall season hosting the Aggie Invitational on Sept. 20-22 at the NMSU Tennis Center.
THE FALL SLATE
The Aggies will kick off their fall season at home with the Aggie Invitational from Friday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Sept. 22. The following week, NM State travels to Abilene Christian for the ACU Tournament, running from Friday, Sept. 27 to Sunday, Sept. 29.
After a two-week break, the Aggies return to Las Cruces to host the Aggie Classic from Friday, Oct. 17 to Sunday, Oct. 19, while also hosting the ITA Mountain Regional from Friday, Oct. 17 to Tuesday, Oct. 22. To close out their fall schedule, NM State will head down I-10 for the UTEP Tournament, held from Friday, Nov. 1 to Sunday, Nov. 3.
The 2024 AGGIES
Heading into the season, the Aggies return five key players while adding two promising newcomers. Leading the charge is Anna Pinaieva, fresh off an All-CUSA Second Team selection in singles. The Ukraine native has been a standout since her freshman year, when she earned All-WAC honors.
The Aggies also welcome freshmen Montana Parkinson-Lubold and Nadia Nemeth. Parkinson-Lubold, a four-star recruit from Pleasanton, Calif., brought home back-to-back North Coast Section Division I singles titles in high school.
Returning standouts Pinaieva, Lisa Zhu, and Whitney Moon are poised to lead the team this season, boasting a combined 11-4 singles record and 6-6 in doubles from last year.
