LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Aggies will be back in action for the second straight week as they visit Santa Clarita, Calif., for a two-day event co-hosted by UCLA and Pepperdine. The Aggies will be one of 12 teams to compete in the Bruin Wave Invitational which will be a 54-hole event that is set to take place at Valencia Country Club.
 
Play is scheduled to open at 8:30 a.m. MT with the teams set to play 36 holes on Monday followed by a final round on Tuesday that will also begin at 8:30 a.m.
 
AGGIE LINEUP
NM State will be represented by Emma Bunch, Camille Pazouki, Angela Garvin, Alexandria Armendariz, Isabel Laulhé and Emma Thompson who will be competing as an individual. Of this group, Bunch, Chen and Garvin have played in each of the Aggies' four competitions thus far.
 
THE FIELD
NM State will join a competitive field which includes hosts UCLA and Pepperdine along with No. 14 Arizona, Baylor, California, Cal State Fullerton, Long Beach State, New Mexico, Nihon University (Japan), Pepperdine, Rutgers, Santa Clara and UCLA.
 
THE COURSE
Valencia Country Club is a breathtaking championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. to blend seamlessly with its pristine natural surroundings amidst the verdant terrain of the Santa Clarita Valley. The course was recognized as one of the top 25 golf courses in Southern California.
