Aggies Gear Up for a Louisiana Road Slate

NM State set for matchups against McNeese State and LA Tech.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – After returning to Las Cruces from their trip to California to face UC Riverside, the Aggies now set their sights on a pair of matchups in Louisiana. They'll begin their road swing on Thursday, March 20, with a visit to McNeese State for a 2 p.m. clash against the Cowgirls. Less than 24 hours later, NM State will take on conference foe LA Tech in Ruston, squaring off in a Friday morning matchup at 10 a.m. on March 21. 

LAST TIME OUT | VS UC Riverside (Mar. 13) 

NM State dominated on the road Wednesday, shutting out UC Riverside 4-0 at the SRC Tennis Courts. The Aggies set the tone in doubles play, with Nadia Nemeth and Anna Pinaieva cruising to a 6-0 victory at the No. 1 spot. Shortly after, Whitney Moon and Dora Kurdi were awarded a walkover win, securing the doubles point and giving NM State an early lead. 

In singles, Montana Parkinson-Lubold powered past Chloe Vu 6-0, 6-3 at the No. 4 position, while walkover victories for Dora Kurdi and Nadia Nemeth sealed the shutout for the Aggies. With the match decided, the remaining singles contests went unfinished.
