NM State men finish second as a team with 33 points.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Taking their talents up north for the second meet of the 2025 season, NM State recorded a solid day at the Lobo Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico at the UNM North Golf Course. Andrew Gibby led the way for the Crimson & White, tallying the individual championship in the men's 5k with a time of 15:11.62. Overall, the men finished second as a team behind UTEP.

The women's 5K began the day in the Duke City, which saw a select group of Aggie student-athletes make the trip. Running unattached, New Mexico's Christina Nisoli took the top time with a mark of 17:31.49. Similarly, an unattached Khloi Bird took the top time for NM State, posting a result of 18:37.32.

Recently joining the team, freshman student-athletes Abigail Beam (Rio Rancho, N.M.; Rio Rancho HS) and Brooke Kelly (Albuquerque, N.M.; St. Pius X HS) made a return trip to Albuquerque, competing in front of friends and family. The duo finished 11th and 12th respectively, posting new personal best times of 19:15.17 and 19:20.73.
