ABILENE, Texas – The Aggies finished their weekend at the ACU Invite today with two individual champions as both Whitney Moon and Montana Parkinson-Lubold secured singles titles in their respective draws. 

Moon turned in a dominant performance in the Flight D final, rolling past Texas State's Anastasia Radocanovic 6-1, 6-2 to clinch the championship. Parkinson-Lubold followed suit in Flight E, fighting through a tight opening set before cruising in the second for a 7-6, 6-1 win over SFA's Antonella Taco Villarreal. 

Elsewhere in singles, Anna Pinaieva battled for a three-set win over Valeria Sanchez of UTSA in Flight A, prevailing 7-5, 6-4, [11-9]. In Flight C, Emma Petton came up short against LA Tech's Nina Skoric, while Anna Klimova fell in Flight G to Tarleton State's Marissa Minetti. 

With the tournament in the books, NM State will now gear up for an important competition as the Aggies travel to Provo, Utah, to compete in the ITA Mountain Regionals from Oct. 7-11.

Flight E – Montana Parkinson-Lubold (NMSU) def. Antonella Taco Villarreal (SFA) 7-6, 6-1 – Won Flight E 
Flight G – Marissa Minetti (Tarleton State) def. Anna Klimova (NMSU) 6-1, 6-3
