New Mexico State University Athletics

2015: Started in 13-of-20 matches and logged 1361 minutes of action in her sophomore campaign…wrapped up the season with 11 points (4g, 3a) – good for third on the team…her three points (1g, 1a) against Chicago State (10/15) was the second-most on the season for NM State…her first goal of the season came against Weber State (9/4)…followed up with the game-winning goal two days later in 4-3 come-back win against Lamar (9/6)…wrapped up the year with three game-winning goals, tying the single-season record…earned her first assist of the season against I-10 rival, UTEP (9/9)…picked up her second assist of the season against CSU Bakersfield (10/2) and followed up with her third assist against Chicago State (10/15)...her three assists on the year is tied for sixth-most in a single-season…active career leader in points for NM State heading into her junior campaign.
 
2014: Played in all 22 matches as a freshman for the Aggies while making 12 starts…tied for fourth on the team with six points (2g, 2a) on the season…finished her freshman campaign with a .462 clip in shots on goal…recorded her first collegiate assist against Texas State (8/24)…drilled in her first collegiate goal against UNLV (9/21)…picked up her second assist against UMKC (10/10)…knocked in her second-career goal against Chicago State (10/12) two days later.
 
High School: A four-year letter winner at St. Lucy’s Priory High School, Abdelkader led the Regents to a second-place finish in league her freshman year and guided SLPHS to three-straight California Interscholastic Federation Playoff berths…finished her prep career with a 48-30-12 record…was named a captain her senior year and earned team offensive MVP and rookie of the year honors…she also ran track for the Regents all four years.
 
Personal: Daughter of Intisar Abdelkader…has an older brother, Sammer, and two older sisters, Lena and Iman…majoring in kinesiology.
