2010 (Freshman): In her first season in Las Cruces, Vega made an appearance in two matches for the Aggies. Vega’s first showing was in the 8-0 win over Prairie View A&M (Aug. 29). In the 2-1 double overtime loss at Nevada, Vega recorded her first-career shot.

High School/Club: Vega joined the Aggies from El Paso, Texas, and Eastwood High School. She was a three-time first team all-district selection as a freshman, sophomore and junior for the Troopers. Vega was also named a player to watch as a sophomore. In 2008, she played for the Chihuahua State Team that finished fourth in the Mexican National Tournament, and she was invited to participate in National Training Camp for Mexican U20 team. Vega plays for the El Paso Storm Club Team and was a member of the New Mexico Olympic Development Program Team.

Personal: She is the daughter of Samuel and Sandra Walker and was born in El Paso, Texas. Vega is majoring in kinesiology.
