Shayna Wheildon marks her first season with the Aggies in 2026, following a pair of seasons as a graduate assistant at UTEP. Prior to her time in El Paso, the Norco, Calif., native worked in a variety of roles from the support staff to coaching roles - including serving as a volunteer assistant coach (2020), video coordinator (2020-2022), interim assistant coach (2022), youth/elite camp associate director (2017-2020) and director of operations (2022-2024). 

During her playing career at Washington State, she was a four-year letter winner, helping the squad qualify for the NCAA Tournament in 2017 (Sweet 16), 2018 (Second Round) and 2019 (College Cup Final Four Semifinalist). The Norco, Calif., native appeared in 64 games during her career, including logging 19 starts.
