New Mexico State University Athletics

2025 (Sophomore): Appeared in seven games for the Aggies… made her Crimson & White debut against Colorado College (8/14), playing 16 minutes… posted a season-high 35 minutes in the shutout home victory over Abilene Christian (8/17). 

2024 (Freshman): Missed season due to injury. 

Before NM State: Attended Montwood High School in El Paso, Texas... Portillo was a two-time offensive MVP, three-time First Team All-City, three-time first-team All-District, Montwood Newcomer of the Year and El Paso Rookie of the Year... In high school, she scored 92 goals and recorded 43 assists... In 2020 and 2021 she made the All-State Roster... Was a part of NTHS. 

Personal: She received her associate’s degree in the fall of 2023 before she graduated from high school... Daughter of Adrian Portillo... Her father attended the University of Phoenix and is currently working as a Juvenile Probation Officer... Older sibling to Derek... Majoring in political science.
