Before NM State: An Austin HS graduate, Martinez was named the 2023 El Paso All-District Goalie of the Year, following a 16-8 season with a district title and appearance in the UIL 4A Regionals... During the 2022 season she earned First Team honors. 

Personal: Daughter of Juan Valdez and Elsa Lopez... Has two brothers, Johan and Christopher... Received a CDL certificate.
