2023 (Senior)
A team captain and versatile option for the Crimson & White, transitioning to center back throughout CUSA action… Started all 16 appearances on the year, totaling 1180 minutes… Recorded a season-high four shots while scoring the game-winning goal against Cal State Fullerton (8/27)… Played every minute throughout conference play, one of just two Aggies to achieve the mark…Helped anchor an NM State defense that posted a 1.63 GAA on the year, and a 0.86 GAA during CUSA play, earning CUSA Defensive Player of the Year honors.

2022 (Senior)
Played a pivotal role in her fourth year with the program… Played and started in 20 games, recording a career high 1,542 minutes… Scored one goal against UTEP (9/1)… Recorded a career-high three assists versus Nevada (9/9)… Recorded a season-high four shots against UTEP (9/1) and Stephen F. Austin (9/25)… Punched in the game-winning goal against rival UTEP (9/1)…Secured a Second Team All-WAC selection after finishing the season third in the conference for assists (7)…Earned a spot on the All-WAC Tournament Team after helping the Aggies to their first conference title in school history.

2021 (Junior)
One of the more reliable veterans for the Aggies, Hernandez started in all 18 games she appeared in... Totaled 1,045 minutes, just one of seven Aggies to tally more than 1,000 minutes for the season... Led the team in shots taken (27) and shots on goal (15)... Her only goal came during the opening game against Abilene Christian (8/19).

2020-21 (Sophomore)
Season postponed to the spring due to COVID-19...After tearing her ACL in 2019, Hernandez emerged as one of the Aggies' top players...Led the team in goals with seven...Recorded the program's sixth hat trick on Feb. 22 against Chicago State...Scored a goal in the Aggies' 3-0 in the WAC Quarterfinals against UTRGV...Tallied an assist against Dixie State on Mar. 25....Earned All-WAC Honorable Mention.

2019 (Freshman)
Appeared in five games and started one game for the Aggies...Took six shots including a season-high five against Idaho State on Sept. 1...Recorded assists against Idaho State on Sept. 1 and Texas State on Sept. 8.

HIGH SCHOOL
Three year letter-winner at Thunderbird High School…guided Thunderbird to a 16-2-2 record and a 4A state championship game appearance as a sophomore…named First-Team All-Region as a junior…earned team MVP and was one of eight finalists for Arizona 4A Player of the Year after the 2017-18 campaign.

Daughter of Absalon Hernandez and Merari Carreto…has three older siblings, Anthony, Kimberly and Jody, and a younger brother, Absalon…sister Jody also plays for NM State…graduated with a bachelor's degree in public health, and currently studying for her master's in public health.
