Krystal, the Red Panda Acrobat, rides a seven foot unicycle and kicks several bowls at a time into the air and lands them in an ever-growing stack of bowls on her head. ADD IT TO THE LIST
New Mexico State guard Brooke Salas was named the College Sports Madness Player of the Week on Monday after leading the women's basketball team to victory in both match ups last week. The sophomore averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists to go along with 5 steals and two blocks through 59 minutes of play.

This is the second College Sports Madness Player of the Week honor of Salas' career. The Placentia, Calif. native was also recognized as the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week in week one after putting up a double-double in the season opener.

The guard earned the second double-double of the season in the first game last week against Pepperdine on Nov. 23, as she dropped 20 points and corralled 12 rebounds. During the Aggies second contest of the week on Nov. 25, the squad defeated New Mexico Highlands, 94-37. The stellar team play featured the sophomore guard putting up 13 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 3 steals.

ONE OF THE BEST
Junior guard Zaire Williams has proven to be one of the best in the country when it comes to sharing the ball. Williams is in the top-20 in the NCAA with 40 assists (6.7 per game), through six games. The Dana Point, Calif. native had 10 assists against New Mexico and quickly followed that up with a season-high, 12, against Sacramento State in the Bank of Hawaii Classic, helping her name climb the list.

MAKING HER NAME KNOWN
Tyesha Taylor, coming off the bench, is showing she can hang with the best of them. Through six games, the forward has averaged 10.7 points, good for second on the team and is posting a .612 field goal percentage, which leads the team. The stellar play by the sophomore was highlighted when she was named to the Bank of Hawaii Classic All-Tournament Team, along with teammate Tamera William.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS
The University of New Mexico Lobos square off with the Aggies for the second time this season, as they took the first contest, 84-55, on their home turf.

The Lobos enter the game at 2-3 on the year, including a three-game losing streak. The team is led by senior Richelle van der Keijl who has averaged 16.2 points and 12.4 rebounds to start the season. New Mexico currently has four players averaging double digits and as a team averages 71.2 points per game.

UNM entered the 2016-17 season returning only one starter from last year's squad, Cherise Beynon. Beynon averaged 12.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists last season. Last year's team compiled an overall record of 17-15 and a Mountain West record of 9-9 as they lost in the semifinals of the MWC tournament.

This will be the 76th meeting between the Aggies and the Lobos. NM State holds a record of 28-47 (.373) against UNM over the last 43 years.
