CHASING MARKS
The Aggies' women's basketball team is on the cusp of a few historical marks in their program. A win on Saturday gives NM State its longest winningest-streak in program history at 16. It will also push New Mexico State's overall record to 25-3 on the year, one short of tying the program record of 26 set during the 1987-88 season. That was also the first and last team to go undefeated in conference play, which the Aggies are also chasing should they win on Saturday.

BACK-2-BACK
With its win on Feb. 23 over CSU Bakersfield, NM State clinched the Western Athletic Conference Championship outright for the second-straight year.

Head coach Mark Trakh also cemented his name into the NM State women's basketball history books once again, becoming just the second coach in program history to win back-to-back league titles. The only other coach to lead NM State to consecutive conference championships was Joe McKeown (1986-87 and 1987-88).

CELEBRATE WITH US
Aggie fans are encouraged to stay after the conclusion of Saturday's game as NM State celebrates its second-straight regular-season Western Athletic Conference title. Connie Hurlbut, the WAC Deputy Commissioner and SWA, will also be on hand to present head coach Mark Trakh and the women's basketball team the hardware during the trophy presentation.

BYE, BYE, BYE
New Mexico State earned the No. 1 seed for the WAC Tournament and a bye in the quarterfinal round with its win on over CSU Bakersfield. The Aggies will get an extra day of rest and will only have to play in two games instead of three should they advance to the championship game on Saturday, March 12, at 2 p.m. (MT).

#WACVEGAS

GETTING STREAKY
Winners of 15-straight, the New Mexico State women's basketball team how now tied the program record and looks to break that record on Saturday. Dating back to last season, NM State has also won 14-straight conference games at home heading into Saturday's contest.

ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN'
The Aggies have been on a roll this year, winning 24-of-27 games so far and will take a program-tying 15-game win-streak into Saturday's match-up with UTRGV. The junior forward is third on the team in rebounds with 6.3 boards per game and a team best 31 blocks. However, Maldonado has stepped up her play in conference play, averaging 12.9 points per game – good for second on the team.
