LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's swimming and diving team hits the road for the first time of the 2017-18 season as it prepares to take on Idaho at 4:30 p.m. (MT) on Friday, Nov. 10, at the UI Swim Center.
"We are excited to be getting out of town for our first meet on the road this fall," head coach
Rick Pratt said. "Their lineup is similar to ours in nature and our two programs share a lot of the same strengths. Whenever we swim against the Vandals, it brings out the best in our girls and that seems to be mutual."
The meet will feature 16 events, which include the 200 medley relay, 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 1000 free, 100 fly, 200 fly, 100 back, 200 back, 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM. Additionally, the meet will feature the 1 meter diving and 3 meter diving events and conclude with the 400 free relay.
