LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team completed the second day of action at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships on Thursday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The doubles back draw had Linday Harlas and
Harsha Challa with a bye, setting them up against Washington State's duo – who defeated Southern Utah's pair 6-4 on Wednesday.

Neus Torregrosa and
Yadira Rubio weren't able to move past their opponents from Northern Arizona, falling 6-2 in the back draw as well while
Chloe Gavino and
Gavi Kalaga were bested by BYU's in a back-and-forth match 7-6.

Day three action continues Friday, Oct. 12, at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships on the campus of UNLV with consolation singles as well as doubles in addition to added matches.
