'EWA BEACH, Hawaii - The Aggies put the finishing touches on their fall campaign Wednesday at the Hoakalei Country Club Invitational.
The NM State men's golf squad closed out the first half of the season with a 15th-place finish, shooting a 10-over-par 874 as a team. The Aggies were led by sophomore
Cameron Gambini, who tied for 40th at one-over-par 217 overall.
Freshman
Aidan Thomas came in behind him, firing a two-over-par 218 to tie for 45th. Senior
Tanvir Kahlon also tied for 45th at two-over-par 218 after shooting a two-under-par 70 in Wednesday's third and final round.
Freshman
Cole Grossl tied for 62nd at five-over-par 221. Fellow freshman
Scott Rescigno rounded out the Aggie fivesome with a 19-over-par 235, tying for 107th.
NM State returns to action in 2020. The Aggies will kick off the second half of their season at the Arizona Intercollegiate on Jan. 27-28 at Sewailo Golf Club in Tuscon, Ariz.
