LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The New Mexico State women's golf team moved into second place during the second day of competition at the WAC Championship, just one stroke behind the leader, Seattle U.  
 
NM State headed into today's action trailing Utah Valley and Seattle U. However, the Aggies and Seattle U both shot a 294 (+10) on day two to move the Redhawks into first (+18) and New Mexico State into second (+19). UVU slid to third place after posting a 299 (+20) second-round score.
 
Three Aggies find themselves in the top-six headed into the final day of action led by Dominique Galloway. The Rio Rancho, N.M., native posted a 73 (+2) to bring her total score to 142 (E) while she remains in a tie for first place with Seattle U's Vendela From and UVU's Kaylee Shimizu. Pun Chanachai (+5) and Chantal Dueringer (+5) are in a tie for sixth while Maria Prado (+9) and Angela Xu (+16) rank in a 16^th-place tie and a 38^th-place tie, respectively.
 
New Mexico State continues its quest for a fifth WAC Championship in six years with the third day of action from Oakbrook Golf Club tomorrow, April 20, beginning at approximately 10:40 a.m. (MT).  Fans can follow along with tomorrow's action thanks to live stats from GolfStat.
