DENVER – The Aggies are back.

The Western Athletic Conference released its 2021 conference basketball schedule on Monday afternoon, the league announced. The Aggies are set to host eight conference games while hitting the road for eight more.

NM State tips off the WAC schedule at home against WAC newcomer Dixie State on Friday, Jan. 8 and Saturday, Jan. 9. The Aggies have the following weekend off before hitting the road to take on UT Rio Grande Valley on Friday, Jan. 22 and Saturday, Jan. 23. The Aggies beat the Vaqueros in the WAC Quarterfinal last season.

The Aggies then return to the Pan American Center for two matchups with Grand Canyon on Jan. 29 and 30 before a trip to the Golden State to take on California Baptist on Feb. 5 and 6. Seattle U is set to visit Las Cruces the following weekend for two games on Feb. 12 and 13.

NM State will hit the road again on Feb. 19 and 20 for two games at Utah Valley before hosting conference newcomer Tarleton State on Feb. 26 and 27. The Aggies then head to the Midwest to wrap-up the season at Chicago State on March 5 and 6.

The WAC Tournament is set to take place from March 10-13 at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
