LAS CRUCES, N.M. -
 The Aggies' spring season rolls on this weekend.
The NM State men's golf team will compete in the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, hosted by Wyoming, at Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. The event tees off Friday, Feb. 21, and concludes Sunday, Feb. 23.
THE FIELD
The 21-team field includes NM State, host Wyoming, Auburn, Boise State, CSUN, Charlotte, Colorado, Colorado State, Denver, FAU, Fresno State, North Texas, Oregon, San Diego, Seattle, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, TCU, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and UT Arlington.
Texas Tech, not competing in this year's event, won the tournament last season, shooting a team score of six-under 858. Boise State's Skyler Eubank, meanwhile, was crowned the individual champion, firing a nine-under 207, and returns to this year's competition to defend his title.

The Aggies opened up their spring campaign in late January at the Arizona Intercollegiate, hosted by Arizona, in Tucson, Ariz.
NM State carded a 13th-place finish (30-over 882) at Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz., led by freshman
Trey Diehl's top-50 finish. The Farmington, N.M., native came in at seven-over-par 220.Â
