Louis Menard and Martin Simecek found success in their back draw match when pitted against a WAC foe. NM State's pair faced off against the Grand Canyon duo of Wyatt Anderson and Grzegorz Rudnicki by a score of 6-3.
Gijs Akkermans and Corey Clarke fell to the New Mexico pair of Joel Pierleoni and Alex Maggs in their second matchup of the weekend. Akkermans and Clarke couldn't get much going against the Lobos' tandem, dropping a 6-1 decision.
