Scouting the Wolverines
Utah Valley currently holds a 7-4 overall record, a 5-3 WAC record and was the preseason favorite to win the conference. Last season, UVU and NM State split their season series with the Wolverines claiming a 58-54 victory in Las Cruces on Jan. 16 and the Aggies winning in Orem, 65-58, on Feb. 15.

Junior center Josie Williams leads the Wolverines with 14.3 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game. Maria Carvalho (13.5) and Nehaa Sohail (10.5) also average double-figures for Utah Valley.

As a team, Utah Valley is solid, giving up just 60 points per game to rank second in the WAC. They are also the conference's top team from the charity stripe (.725) and rank second from three (.322).

Last Time Out
The Aggies split a "home" series with Seattle U at Eastwood High School on Feb. 12 and 13. In the first game, Echols scored 17 points and Inoussa added 14 and seven boards as the Aggies took down the Redhawks, 64-49. NM State held Seattle U to just 12 points in the first half and 26.2-percent shooting for the game.

On Feb. 13, Inoussa poured in 18 points, Echols scored 13 and
Tayelin Grays added 10 points but the Aggies dropped a 76-69 final to Seattle U.
