LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The NM State cross country teams will head to the Pacific Northwest for the 2021 WAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Seattle, Wash. The women will run the 6k race at 11 a.m. with the men running the 8k race at 12 p.m. at the Jefferson Park Golf Course. Live results can be found at

It was a career day for redshirt senior
Corinne Hanson last week at the Dave Murray Invitational in Tucson, Ariz., as Hanson ran a personal-best time of 21:48.3 at the Rolling Hills Golf Club which would be good enough for a career-best fourth-place finish.
In the 2019 WAC Championships, the Aggies were led by
Jess Dominguez who came across in the 11th position with a time of 21:57.78 to earn her a Second Team All-WAC selection. The Aggies will also look to sophomore
Emily Stutesman and junior
Richelle Sandin to improve on its fourth-place finish in the team standings at the 2019 WAC Championships. Stutesman and Sandin both had solid showings at the Dave Murray Invitational with times of 22:19.2 and 22:37.4 to finish 11th and 18th respectively.
On the men's side, sophomores
Anekin Hetman and
Kayn Quinones will also look to help the Aggies surpass its fourth-place finish at the 2019 WAC Championships. Hetman and Quinones led the Aggies at the Dave Murray Invitational with Hetman taking 15th-place with a time of 24:44.2 and Quinones taking 21st-place with a time of 26:24.2.
