LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Aggies have locked down another piece for the upcoming season as Jody Adams-Birch announced Tuesday that guard Raegan Halliday would be joining the Aggies in 2022-23.
 
With several other connections to Kansas already on the Aggie coaching staff, including Head Coach Jody Adams-Birch, Halliday made the decision to spend her college days in Las Cruces.

· Played high school ball at Olathe South High School where she was a four-year starter, four-time 6A All-State honoree and a four-time All-Sunflower League selection.
· Served as the Falcon's do-it-all player as she led the team in points (14.3) and assists (3.4) while committing the fewest turnovers. She also averaged 3.9 assists per game and pulled down 4.0 rebounds per game.
· Halliday's list of accolades reflects her excellence on and off the court. The point guard was the Tara Peck Memorial Scholarship recipient while also being recognized as the Olathe South Female Athlete of the Year. Additionally, she earned the KSHSAA Citizenship Award and Outstanding Academic Excellence Award.
· Her accomplishments do not end there as she was twice an all-tournament selection and was named a DiRenna Award Semi-Finalist, an award that is given to the Kansas City Metro Top Female Basketball Player each year. She was also named an all-star game selection for Rick Madden, GKCBCA and KBCA.
· As a team captain, she was a catalyst for the Falcons and helped lead Olathe South to a 15-5 overall record and a 4-1 record in district play in 2021-22. This also included pushing Olathe South to a 6-1 record to wrap up the regular season.
· Gained experience playing for Kansas Elite at the AAU level, a strong club with more than 30 years of strong history.
· Halliday displays an elite level of athleticism as she was a two-sport athlete in high school – playing soccer when she wasn't perfecting her craft in a gym.
