• NM State soccer is coming off its best three-game stretch in program history. In the last two weeks, the Aggies went 3-0, scoring ten goals and allowing none.
•The last time the Aggies went 3-0 over a three game stretch was the start of last season when they began the year on a three game win streak beating Abilene Christian (2-1 OT), UC Davis (2-0) and Nevada (3-2). Even during that streak, the Aggies only scored seven goals and allowed three.
• Eight of the Aggies 13 goals this season are coming after the 75-minute. The Aggies only have four goals in the first half of each of their six matches.
• NM State currently sits eighth in conference standings headed into WAC play. Although this might seem low, the Aggies are one of eight teams in the conference to have a winning record headed into this weekend.
• After her performance last week,
Xitlaly Hernandez has placed herself towards the top of the WAC assist leaders. She currently is in a four way tie for fourth place with three assists.
• Makenna Gottschalk is currently tied for second in the conference in shutouts with three. She did fall to fifth on the WAC saves leader board, but that's due to the very few shots being attempted by opposing shooters.
