CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The NM State men's golf team is gearing up for an exciting start to their season as they prepare to compete at the Golfweek Collegiate Kickoff on Labor Day. This two-day tournament, hosted by Golfweek and the University, will be held at the prestigious Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The tournament promises to be a challenging and thrilling event to kick off 2023-24 for the Aggies.
The Dalhousie Golf Club, renowned for its picturesque setting and formidable course layout, will test the mettle of the NM State golfers right from the opening shot. This early-season competition littered with strong competition provides an excellent opportunity for the Aggies to assess their strengths and weaknesses, fine-tune their game, and set the tone for a successful campaign.

The Field
Twelve teams will descend upon Cape Girardeau, Missouri for the Golfweek Collegiate Classic, including Borderland foes NM State and UTEP. Other teams traveling to Dalhousie Golf Club include Ball State, Louisiana-Monroe, LSU, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston, Stetson, UT Arlington, UT Martin, and UTRGV.
Format
On Monday, the field will compete for 36 holes, beginning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. CT / 8:00 a.m. MT. The two-day event will conclude with 18 holes of play on Tuesday.
