Molly Kaiser Wins CUSA POTW for the 5th time this season

Molly Kaiser combined for 55 points after her final conference week in an Aggie uniform. Kaiser was the catalyst to the Aggies 2-0-week victory over LA Tech and Sam Houston State.

In the first game against Louisiana Tech, Molly Kaiser delivered an outstanding performance, leading New Mexico State to an 87-80 victory. She played 38 minutes and was highly efficient, scoring 35 points on 10-of-20 shooting, including 14-of-15 from the free-throw line. Her offensive contributions were instrumental, as she consistently attacked the basket and converted at the charity stripe. Kaiser also contributed four rebounds and four assists while committing zero turnovers, demonstrating strong decision-making and leadership on the court.

In the second game against Sam Houston, Kaiser continued to be a key player for New Mexico State, contributing 20 points in a 64-56 victory. She played 37 minutes, shooting 6-of-11 from the field, including 1-of-2 from three-point range, and making 7-of-9 free throws. Alongside her scoring, she grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists, showcasing her well-rounded play. Despite some turnovers, her impact was evident as she helped maintain New Mexico State's offensive rhythm and secure the win.
She finished the regular season leading in the conference in total points (623), points per game (20.8), and made free throws (178)

Kaiser will help carry the Aggies' current 2-0 streak momentum to the CUSA tournament to face LA Tech in the first round on Thursday.
