LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's tennis team will take a short drive up north as it meets Battle of I-25 rival New Mexico at 4 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 25, at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium.

The Aggies are 5-2 on the year, but have lost both matches on the road so far in 2017. The Lobos counter with a 4-5 overall record on the year and will be playing their first home match of the season on Saturday.

New Mexico State fell to UNM the last time the two teams squared off in 2014 with the Lobos winning 4-2. The last time the Aggies played New Mexico on the road they were bested 4-3 on March 9, 2013. NM State last beat UNM in 2010, a 4-3 effort in Las Cruces, while its last victory in Albuquerque spanned back to April 12, 1997, against a Lobo team that was ranked No. 44 in the country.
