The NM State men’s tennis looks to build on last week’s success at the Golden State Invitational, beginning Friday.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's tennis team is off to compete in the Golden State Invitational beginning this Friday, March 10. The three-day tournament is co-hosted by Sacramento State and UC Davis, which will split the hosting duties throughout the tournament.

Up first for the Aggie men will be Portland on Friday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at UC Davis. The Pilots enter Friday's contest with an impressive 6-1 mark. Of those six wins, one came at the expense of Seattle U, who the Aggies are scheduled to play later in the year, 7-0.

Should New Mexico State win on Friday, it'll play the winner between UC Davis (7-4) and Saint Mary's (3-5) at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.
