LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's tennis team is off to compete in the Golden State Invitational beginning this Friday, March 10. The three-day tournament is co-hosted by Sacramento State and UC Davis, which will split the hosting duties throughout the tournament.

Up first for the Aggie men will be Portland on Friday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at UC Davis. The Pilots enter Friday's contest with an impressive 6-1 mark. Of those six wins, one came at the expense of Seattle U, who the Aggies are scheduled to play later in the year, 7-0.

Should New Mexico State win on Friday, it'll play the winner between UC Davis (7-4) and Saint Mary's (3-5) at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.

GONCALVES CONTINUES TO RACK UP AWARDS
NM State junior
Christofer Goncalves continues his tear on the conference weekly honors, and took home his fourth award of the 2016-17 season this past Tuesday. The Barquisimeto, Venezuela, product has now claimed two WAC Player of the Week honors in the dual season and back-to-back WAC Player of the Month awards in the fall.
